What's included in a £70 boiler service

A proper boiler service isn't a five-minute glance at the pressure gauge. When I service your boiler, I carry out the full manufacturer-approved checklist so your warranty stays valid and your boiler runs safely and efficiently for another year. Here's exactly what's covered:

• Combustion analysis · use a calibrated flue gas analyser to check CO, CO₂ and ratio readings are within manufacturer tolerance

• Working pressure & flow check · verify system pressure and flow rates are correct
• Flue flow and spillage test · confirm the flue is venting properly with no spillage into the property
• Safety device check · test all safety cut-outs, thermostats and flame supervision devices
• Clean and inspect · clean the burner, heat exchanger and condensate trap where required
• Written service record · detailed report emailed to you the same day, signed off and Gas Safe stamped

How long does a boiler service take?
