Most standard combi swap-outs take 1 day. System and conventional boiler conversions or moves take 2·3 days. I'll give you an exact timeline in the quote. On the day I arrive when I said I would, lay down dust sheets, protect your floors, and work cleanly. You'll have hot water and heating back by evening on a same-day install.
Once installed, I run the full commissioning checklist: gas tightness test, combustion analysis, flue check, controls test, radiator balancing, and a full run-through with you on the new controls. You get all the paperwork · Benchmark certificate, gas safety record, warranty registration, and manufacturer manuals.
I register the warranty with the manufacturer on the day. You get the full 10-year cover as long as you keep up with the annual boiler service · which I'll automatically remind you about 11 months later.
If I'm fitting a new boiler to an older central heating system, I'll usually recommend a power flush to clear out any sludge that could damage the new boiler. Kamco power flush trained · it's a one-time job that protects your new boiler investment. Quoted separately in the survey.
